Dioons

Dioons are almost exclusively found in Mexico, often in mountainous
areas. They are hardy plants which all adapt to full sun and
will grow in dry conditions and poor soil. They produce large
white woolly cones and are exceptionally attractive feature
plants. They are rarely seen in gardens and are an endangered
species. |

to extinction. This extremely rare species grows in one semi
desert area. Wild population, less than 60 plants. Medium
size, blue/grey leaves, large greenish white cones. Very rare
in cultivation. A true collector’s plant. Hardy, easy
to grow. Full sun. |
