Dioons species. Dioons are almost exclusively found in Mexico, often in mountainous areas. They are hardy plants which all adapt to full sun and will grow in dry conditions and poor soil. They produce large white woolly cones and are exceptionally attractive feature plants. They are rarely seen in gardens and are an endangered species.
	Vigorous grower, resembles D. Merolae but larger and more robust, very attractive foliage, excellent feature plant for rockery. Full sun or shade. Unknown in cultivation.
